INTRO: In order to assure consistency, satisfactory customer service, and compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and insurance coverages, the Executive Board of the Band Boosters adopted the following policies and procedures for all activities at the Car Show Concession Stand at a meeting held on February 21, 2006:
1. Insurance for volunteers (over the age of 18) participating in a school related activity is provided as secondary coverage only by the Carlisle Area School District. There is NO liability insurance coverage provided for students (under the age of 18). Therefore it is recommended that the student and parents of any student working at the Car Show Concession stand consult with their homeowner policy for limits of coverage. By volunteering to work at the concession stand, you acknowledge that insurance coverage is as stated.
2. Online schedules are posted on the web site. Check time and date availability. Once a time period is filled there are no additional persons needed. You will be notified if the shift is full.
3. Each shift should be staffed with a minimum of 4 adults and 6 students for a total of 10 workers.
4. Work positions are as follows:
1. Adults: Cash register, Grill (2), and Kitchen (ADULTS AT THESE POSITIONS ONLY)
2. Students: Fill orders, stock supplies, trash removal, and other tasks.
5. Students expecting to be enrolled in the band program during the upcoming school year (currently in final months of 8th grade) and any band student are eligible to work. NO STUDENT UNDER THE AGE OF 14 WILL BE PERMITTED TO WORK.
6. ALL workers must abide by the PA Dept. of Health regulations and statutes. This specifically includes but not limited to hairnets or hat, gloves at specified positions, and proper hand washing. All are outlined in a posting at the concession stand. There will be NO exceptions.
7. Carlisle Productions will provide parking passes for each show. The designated lot is the National Guard lot on Cavalry Rd. Other parking is at the owners risk and expense. Passes are available thru Dave Rohrer or at the concession stand. If a pass is not available, notify the gate attendants that you are working with the band booster concession stand; show your band ID if you have one, they should allow you to enter.
8. Each worker at the show will be provided a sandwich and beverage of choice for each shift worked at no charge.
9. ALL FOOD AND DRINK WILL BE CONSUMED IN THE KITCHEN AREA ONLY. NO FOOD/DRINK ALLOWED AT THE FRONT COUNTER.
10. By scheduling and working, you understand and agree to abide by the aforementioned policies and procedures in behalf of yourself and any other person that you may schedule.
